Just a few minutes drive from Westwood Cottages – or a trip across the river by rowing boat ferry – is the delightful market town of Southwold. The town centre has a wide selection of shops, restaurants and galleries. Take a look at the lighthouse and walk along the recently restored pier, or sample one of the famous Adnams Ales in one of the many local pubs.
